Read Britain's comments at the end of "Analysis of Ode to Melancholy"
Great insight. Nothing really exists except Kyle... and the story is inside HIS head which makes everything Britain writes here really the perfect way to approach it. We'll have to make sure there are some obvious "signals" for the audience or we risk them blowing her off as an underwritten stereotype/character.
So, if she's his "fill in" Zoe until he can handle other people, he's given us all the background in the opening monologue and in his description of how he hooks up with her as a prostitute.
